We've definitely been seeing more traditional kokeshis on television in Japan lately, and I managed to capture another screen shot of one a couple weeks ago. This one is from an NHK kids' music video for a song called "Cool Japan." The funny thing is that the kokeshi has wings sticking out of its head, plus robot legs and arms! But despite all that weirdness it's still a kokeshi.
